Looking for something besides fish to eat on Fridays? How about some homemade pierogies?
St. Joseph the Provider in Campbell is taking orders on Fridays through May.
Parishioners and friends of the church make potato, prune and sauerkraut pierogies from scratch. It's a long standing tradition that financially benefits the church.
"It started down at the old church which was St. John's Polish Church on Warhure Road here in Campbell," said the Rev. Michael Swierz. "Then when the new church here on Porter Avenue was built, the tradition continued. So, it's been going on for well over 50 years."
